Well you guys just continue to amaze me which just goes to show that you can do anything you set your mind to.
The weather all around is just plain crazy, isn't it? Do you think it's a sign from God telling us to stop and look around?
Anyway, enjoy your day..........it's Monday............
Love, Darla

Dear Lucinda and John,
Love this website! Noticed you visited Phillip Perlstein's studio. He lives (and I believe works) in the same building as Jack's twin sister Susanne Schnitzer (art restorer). She has always said that she knows Phillip well. She has two floors in that building for her home and her studio. I believe it's West 38th.
Loved your home and doggies! Really nice to have some time together. We look forward to more good times this summer.
You two are amazing.
All our love, Laurie and Jack XX

Here I am back in North Carolina, eating Grape Nuts with soy milk, no chile. Oh, but I'll tell you, that soft poached egg with chile at Tecalote with the warm flour tortilla, that's the stuff Lyle Lovett songs are made of. I need to find a red chile receipt (as Grandma Jose use to say).
I reckon we are all thinking globally and acting locally, as you have modeled so well for us, going on two years now.
Oh, hahaha, John, I gave your name to a nice kid at the airport in Albuquerque. Greg. Newly arrived in NM from California, grew up in a family oriented to outdoors and doing for others, may be a serial killer, but I don't think so. I told him to tell you that I sent him, and that you would hook him up with other like-minded folks. Just a little mischief to pass the time while I waited for da plane.
Love and thanks for everything, e.

Happy New Year! May 2005 be the best year ever! Two years; it's hard to believe - time flies when you're having fun! On a serious note, prayers go out to all those who have lost lives in Asia. As we know, life is so precious; my heart just bleeds for those who have loved and lost.
On a brighter note, my oldest daughter is engaged - wedding bells in May 2006. That gives us plenty of time to plan (me to hopefully save some money!) and for them to find a house. It should be an interesting year overall.
My best to everyone for a wonderful, healthy, and happy new year.
Love, Darla

That's funny...I was thinking about the amazing progress made by everyone. Obstacles, both physical and psychological, overcome. And wondering about the fate of the Tullminator. It (he?) will vastly improve some fortunate person's life. Craig has Travis Roy's first van, and it was so wonderful to have transportation for Craig.
Hope you both have a Happy New Year, and 2005 brings a year full of good things.

Feliz Navidad y mucho prospero Nuevo Año to you and the lady Ellen. I remember her well.[G] Give her an abrazo for me.
Bev and I during all of '99 spent a working sabbatical in Charlotte after SCG outsourced us --USLEC of NC cried Help! Ellen, I visited our offices in Greensboro and Raleigh regularly but all the cedar around Statesville had me in tears before I could get there.
A highlight for me was Steve LeBlanc's being there for an occasional breakfast or lunch or a Sat.coffee in S Charlotte where we both lived.
Ellen, northern New Mexico always looks good to returnees! Enjoy each day and come back as soon as you can.
John & Lucinda, your journey continues to inspire us and confirm our faith in good doctors, good friends and above all in God's love.

I would never, ever presume that I might edit anything written by Fitzpatrick. We have had just about as much fun as we thought we would have with the divine Ms. Fitz. She is about as funny as they come. She also knows how to write.

That i have not written is not an idication that I haven't kept up with your web page. I read it at least once a week, and wanted you to know I think about you alot. I know John sat next to Lette on an airplane ride a few months back, and reported to us about it at SAR practice. I want to wish you both a very happy and wonderful new year! I love reading about you!

Actually, it was 45 degrees when I went to bed last night, 41 upon arising, and now, an hour later, down to 36. Maybe Santa will have to use his helicopter this evening. That's how Mom told me he got around if there wasn't any snow for his sleigh, but you know, it always snowed Christmas Eve in those cases? Never did hear the sleigh bells, but figured I'd HAVE to hear a helicopter landing on the roof!
Hope you have a WONDERFUL Christmas!
